Celebrating Excellence: A Spotlight on Holiday Inn Express Waikiki
In today's ever-changing hospitality landscape, maintaining success requires hotels to continually explore new avenues in order to boost revenue. Staying attuned to evolving guest preferences and offering tailored solutions is key for hoteliers to thrive in a competitive market. Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii, like many other hotels, faced a significant downturn in international tourism. In response, they strategically shifted their focus to appeal to domestic travelers. Leveraging Dayuse's expertise in local tourism, the hotel found an ideal partner to execute their vision.
In this case study, we delve into how Dayuse empowered the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki to tap into the local market and bolster their revenue streams by embracing daytime reservations. Discover how this innovative approach not only attracted locals but also revitalized the hotel's bottom line amidst unprecedented times.
To optimise the results of this collaboration, the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki’s management team worked closely with the Dayuse team. Following recommendations from our account managers, the hotel refined their offers by widening and diversifying the daytime booking slots. As with all of our partners, we were available 7 days a week to assist the managers in setting up their Dayuse offer. Once the offer was created, The Holiday Inn Express Waikiki were able to offer guests a fast and easy reservation process for daytime bookings via the Dayuse website and app. They quickly realized that making the daytime booking slots as flexible as possible was key to attracting guests.
